I knew this day would come...
...I just didn't know when it would. I ended up curbing my back right rim today. I haven't even had them for a month. I ended up scraping them on a curb today when I was trying to park. Andrew S. at first stopped me and said I was going to hit it, but then he said it was okay. So I went through with it, and SCCCCRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPEEEEE. I can still hear it in my mind. My heart dropped and I didn't even want to look at it when I got out of the car. In my opinion it looks pretty bad, but Andrew and Kent said it was okay. Maybe I'll save up and get a new one (sigh).
Superman Returns: 3D

I never realised that the new "Superman Returns" movie would be in 3D. But apparently it is. According to this site there will be 20 minutes of 3D footage out of the total 154 minutes of the entire movie. That's about 13% of the movie, so that's not too shabby. At first I had doubts that the visual quality would be good on an IMAX screen (I saw Spiderman and Final Fantasy on the IMAX and it looked like ass), but according to that site, the footage has been converted for "3D IMAX Experience". So hopefully everything won't look grainy.
Superman Returns opens tomorrow night! Time to get my IMAX 3D tickets!!!

Famous Bears
So I want points on Jackson's Blog. And in order to do so I must name famous bears and post their pictures. Also I will get bonus points if post a picture of my favourite bear as well.

Superman I & II
With Superman Returns coming to theatres tomorrow I thought it was a good time to go pick up Superman I and II on DVD, and to my surprise they were only $5.99 each at Futureshop. But if you want all 4 Superman movies than you can get the Box set (nothing special beside all 4 of them together) at HMV for $29.99. I thought the deal was a lot better at Futureshop because I didn't like the last 2 Superman movies. So go grab them while they are still cheap!

The Return of Superman

Are you caught up in the Superman Returns hype? I definitely am. Even though I have a feeling that this movie might just suck, I am still excited to see the Man of Steel take to the big screen again. Go here to see all the hype on Superman Returns that I have gathered from the net.
Superman Returns opens in theatres this June 28th, 2006.

Can you hear me now?
After 5 years of supporting Clearnet/Telus Mobility I have finally decided to switch service providers and go onto Rogers Wireless. I will write later about why Rogers/Fido is better than Telus/Bell. But for now this is my new phone!

9 holes...

..are the number of holes in my body (and yes I did count just to make sure). Actually I went and played my first round of golf in a very long time. The last time I played I still worked at Precision and Special K came out and played with Andrew and I. So that would be in the fall of 2002. My first hole was a complete bunk so we all agreed to scratch that hole (I lost 3 balls on the first course!). But after that I played probably the best golf I have ever played since I first stepped onto a golf course. I actually got par on a hole and had a few bogies on a couple of other holes! My long game wasn't very good but my short game wasn't bad at all. I chipped one super close to the hole as well (it looked like it hit close to the lip of the cup). Anyways I can't wait to get another round in sometime soon!
P.S. my score was 41 on a par 30 (8 holes haha). Perhaps next time I go for 9 holes I can get a 41 on all 9 holes!

DTP: This past weekend
Well I wasn't able to go to the car show this past weekend at the Olympic Oval but from the pictures and the cars there it looked like a great show. You can check out the pictures that are in this thread by clicking here. I think I will check out the next one in Edmonton on July 8th, or perhaps the one in Vancouver (ooooh road trip!).

Cars
I went out and saw the new Pixar/Disney movie Cars with the girl friend last night and I must say that the partnership between those two companies has yet to disappoint me. The movie was clever, witty and funny with the typical disney cheesey ending. And in the end I left the theatre feeling that it was money well spent. Definitely check it out if you have the chance. It's definitely better than the load of crap that X3 was.

Duhhhh.
I cannot believe that I have been using this dashboard for so long and I just found out how to post pictures using blogger. It's so easy, it's so simple yet I was never aware of it. In the beginning I would upload pictures to a server that I had then I would host the images on that server. Then I found out about the Hello and Picasa programs for Windows and have used that since to host pictures on my blog. And all I had to do was this:

Duhhhhh.

del.icio.us?
If you have visited my page recently you have seen the sidebar section (on the right) that is dedicated to "my del.icio.us links". What is this nonsense you might ask? Well I don't know how to really explain it, but I will try. But before I try I will post what del.icio.us wrote:
What is del.icio.us?
del.icio.us is a collection of favorites - yours and everyone else's. Use del.icio.us to:
* Keep links to your favorite articles, blogs, music, restaurant reviews, and more on del.icio.us and access them from any computer on the web.
* Share favorites with friends, family, and colleagues.
* Discover new things. Everything on del.icio.us is someone's favorite - they've already done the work of finding it. Explore and enjoy.
So basically after I register an account at del.icio.us, I then add a "tag" button on my browser. I click this tag button whenever I reach a web page of interest. This lets me save it in a list that everyone can see if they access "my del.icio.us link" page. This also shares the link to other users on del.icio.us as well. The links you see on the sidebar is a service they offer that lets you see my most current tagged links. I think its rather neat. Its basically your bookmarks, but shared with everyone else!
