If you have visited my page recently you have seen the sidebar section (on the right) that is dedicated to "my del.icio.us links". What is this nonsense you might ask? Well I don't know how to really explain it, but I will try. But before I try I will post what del.icio.us wrote:
What is del.icio.us?
del.icio.us is a collection of favorites - yours and everyone else's. Use del.icio.us to:
* Keep links to your favorite articles, blogs, music, restaurant reviews, and more on del.icio.us and access them from any computer on the web.
* Share favorites with friends, family, and colleagues.
* Discover new things. Everything on del.icio.us is someone's favorite - they've already done the work of finding it. Explore and enjoy.
So basically after I register an account at del.icio.us, I then add a "tag" button on my browser. I click this tag button whenever I reach a web page of interest. This lets me save it in a list that everyone can see if they access "my del.icio.us link" page. This also shares the link to other users on del.icio.us as well. The links you see on the sidebar is a service they offer that lets you see my most current tagged links. I think its rather neat. Its basically your bookmarks, but shared with everyone else!
